A mobile phone contract can be concluded online in just a few steps. Canceling it has been just as easy since July 1, 2022. Cancelling your congstar contract: Cancellation terms and deadlines<\/h2>\n

The new Telecommunications Act, which came into force on December 1, 2021, changes the\u00a0The process surrounding the cancellation is significantly simpler and therefore more consumer-friendly.<\/strong>: With\u00a0shortened deadlines<\/strong>\u00a0You'll get rid of your old contract faster. The notice period depends on the tariff model you're using. With congstar, it depends on whether you have a mobile phone contract with or without a minimum term, or whether you're using a prepaid plan.<\/p>\n

  • Contracts with a fixed term: <\/strong>Congstar's fixed-term contracts have a minimum term of 24 months. If you signed your mobile phone contract after December 1, 2021, you can cancel it with just one month's notice before the end of the term. If your contract is older, the standard three-month notice period still applies. If you've ever missed the cancellation deadline at the end of a two-year contract, you know how frustrating that is. But since the amendment to the Telecommunications Act, providers are no longer allowed to keep their customers locked into mobile phone contracts. Specifically, this means that after the minimum contract term has expired, you can cancel your congstar contract monthly. This applies not only to new contracts but also to older ones \u2013 there are no exceptions.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Contracts without a fixed term: <\/strong>With congstar, you can cancel a mobile phone contract without a minimum term with 14 days' notice to the end of the month. This means you have the opportunity to terminate your contract every month from the very beginning, benefiting from maximum flexibility.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Prepaid plans: <\/strong>There's no set time limit for canceling a prepaid plan. Congstar offers a separate cancellation form for prepaid plans on its website, which you simply need to fill out. Your request will then be processed within 10 days, and your remaining credit will be refunded to the account you provided. Generally, for prepaid SIM cards, if you don't top up your credit, the SIM card will be automatically deactivated after a certain period.
